On June 11th, 2025, Dan witnessed a violent rioter armed with a handgun assault police officers in downtown Los Angeles. After assaulting LASD & LAPD, the assailant reached for the firearm tucked into his waistband as he began to run away. Dan immediately intervened by running and WWE-style body-slamming the rioter to the ground, causing the man to lose possession of his handgun; assisting LAPD, LASD, and U.S. Marines with the arrest of the violent criminal.
Turns out the whole incident was caught on video... Dan had no idea.
By the next morning, the video of Dan was going viral across all social media platforms. Dan's video had been posted on X over 7.7 million times under a single hashtag, with just one of these videos gaining over 12.5 million views... all within 12 hours after Dan put his life on the line.
In the days following, Dan would be featured and discussed on some of the largest news stations, podcasts, and YouTube channels in existence including Fox News'
"Hannity,", PBD Podcast, The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro, The Rubin Report, TMZ, and countless others.
